I'm rar and I love video games.
I'm a writer who's only current claim to fame is a 5 story Kingdom Hearts fanfic series (the fourth title, Dead Inside, being over 400k words) known as FtPverse. You can read more about that here.
I also am really passionate about languages and am currently studying Spanish and Japanese (I'm mostly fluent in Spanish, and only have basic grammar down in Japanese).
My Dream Job is video game localization, though I'd settle for basically anything concerning translation. Anime / manga localization would be my next hope, and after that, well, someone translates cartoons and movies and books and stuff into Spanish, right?
I'm also a huge fan of video games, my favorite series' being: Kingdom Hearts, Super Mario, Legend of Zelda, and Earthbound/Mother.

About the Blog: What to Expect
General

This blog is a place for me to talk about things that are going on in my life, or more likely: writing tips / adventures, fun translation musings, video games. So far, it's mostly been video games.

I didn't want this to solely be a writing blog but I can't deny that I Know How to write, so, I thought it'd be a good idea to talk about writing and writing tips and how-tos and resources, and just, general musings about writing.
Translation stuff

All of my Japanese study has been self imposed, and a lot of my self imposed homework for it (and Spanish lately) has been to translate things from Japanese into English.
And the most interesting thing to do is compare the original Japanese vs what was put in the English version -- it's fun to see how things were translated differently, or, in a lot of cases, changed completely for a dub!
So, I'll discuss a lot of that.
Video Games

When it comes to video games, you're probably gonna get four kinds of posts:
1 - Reviews! Or, rather, "I've played this game at some point in my life and I'm not necessarily saying you should play it I just wanted to talk about how this game makes me feel."

2 - Recommendations!! I've played a lot of great games during my life, and so, I'll probably do a lot of write ups for these games and why I think you also should play them.
3 - Game News!!! Information about the latest games (I'm excited for) and my thoughts about it!
4 - Analyses! This is for, like, me getting Really Deep into a game's meta and just discussing some of it's attributes or this one part I thought meant a lot. Also could lead to some criticism, depending on the game and the subject matter. (Slowly eyes Kingdom Hearts and how it treats girls.)

Here are some things I could Potentially write about at any point
- Music!!! I love music a lot and will probably at some point babble about it / rec music to you.
- Books?? I do a lot of reading, of course, so perhaps at some point I will also talk about books!
- Life in general - I'm not too big on doing this, largely because I don't think a lot of interesting things happen, but maybe there will be some interesting stories to share, at some point!

- FtPverse - my KH fanfic, blood and sweat and tears of five+ years. Staring the Riku Replica who gets dropped off in another universe for a second chance at life, and though I could blab about it for a while, just go find more details here.
((And if you even want to say "fanfic isn't real writing" then please consider: this post by screenplay editor on the matter.)) - Cosmic Girl Norae (working title) - my First Big Original Novel that's been in the works since I was a kid (probably ten years ago). At the time of it's conception I was convinced I could write 50 novels to lead up to it, but now I know better. This is an attempt to salvage all those ideas from when I was a kid and turn them into something, though I'm also incorporating a lot of new ideas, too!! (on the backburner while I finish FtPverse. I only got one more book to go.)
